Imagine if you or a loved one could receive quality health care in the comforts of home?

Franciscan Home Care Services is a faith-based, award winning home health provider appropriate for a variety of conditions which require skilled care nursing/therapy and meet admission criteria. Clients may utilize Franciscan Home Care Services with a physicians order and can arrange to have visits after leaving the hospital or a skilled care community. Home health care is especially recommended for people:

  • Recovering from surgery
  • Experiencing chronic health problems such as heart disease, cancer or diabetes
  • Recovering from a stroke
  • Requiring supervision in the administration of medication, such as injections and intravenous therapy
  • Requiring ostomy or catheter care
Charges for home visits by nurses, therapists, home health aides and social workers may be covered by:
  • Medicare
  • Medicaid
  • Most private insurance companies
Home care is a joint venture between the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago and the Sisters of St. Francis Health Services serving residents of Lake, Porter, La Porte, Jasper, Newton, Starke and St. Joseph counties in Indiana.
